Olympia Tools Group was established in the USA in 1976. Operating out of a manufacturing and distribution warehouse in the City of Industry area of Los Angeles, California, the company grew by acquisition and soon were the owners of brands such as Roughneck, Village Blacksmith, Babco, Thorsen, Power Grip. Driven by innovation, the brief to its design teams was to take an ordinary tool and not copy but improve. From this philosophy for example was born the Gorilla Wrecking Bar. It does everything that a standard traditional wrecking bar would do and more. (See our product pages for more information on the Gorilla bar range). Other such innovative lines are the Power Grip single handed wrench, Wood Grenade wood splitting wedge, the Big Mutt (Multi Use Tough Tool) and the Demolition and Lifting Bar. In 2005 the UK management team purchased the intellectual property rights for Europe and Australasia and continue to develop the business under the new name of Olympia Tools (UK) Ltd using the same business models inherited from the USA. We are constantly bringing to market new and innovative products sourced globally from factories with whom we have developed long and envied relationships. We dedicate ourselves to delivering the highest quality tools to our customers. Originally established in the USA, Olympia Tools has been trading in the UK for over 15 years and under the guidance of the current directors the business has gone from strength to strength. |
